Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Hawai‘i, Department of Public Works (DPW) is seeking professional services to provide Construction Management and Inspection in support of a series of projects titled “Reconstruction of Lava Inundated Roads.” These projects will reconstruct existing roads that were inundated by lava during the 2018 Kilauea volcano eruption, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) 4366-DR-HI. The anticipated scope of work is provided in further detail in the Request for Qualifications but will generally include coordination between construction contractor, design consultant, and DPW as well as inspections and testing of the construction work performed to ensure the construction is completed on schedule and in accordance with the contract documents.
