Specifications include, but are not limited to: furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and services (including Health and Safety Plan and Work Plan development and compliance with all applicable regulations) to rapidly respond to and remove/abate the following types of environmental hazards, which are identified by the County as requiring abatement: underground/aboveground storage tanks and associated appurtenances, waste drums, contaminated soil, hazardous material spills or emergencies, mold, dust, asbestos and lead contaminated media, and other contaminated media. Temporary storm water control and erosion control measures, in accordance with state and local regulations, shall be installed as called for in the contract documents, specifications, and price pages. This is a requirements contract for work on an as-needed basis. The work does not regularly include laboratory testing other than field analysis as described herein. The work could include transport of wastes (such as excavated or removed storage tanks, ancillary equipment and materials, tank rinse water, and contaminated soils) to an approved treatment/disposal facility if directed by the County’s project manager.
