Hickory Knob is a South Carolina State Park that opened in 1973 and is the only South Carolina State Park with a hotel and restaurant and one of two with a golf course. The cabins opened for rental in 1973 and have been remodeled numerous times and have reached a point of being beyond repair and reasonable use for rental to the public. The goal is to remove the current structures and replace them with a modern structure.
