Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Proposer shall provide temporary staffing services which will afford OCC with additional manpower on a temporary basis, with the option of temp-to-hire. These services shall include, but may not be limited to, the following: 1. Providing vacancy announcement(s) to the Proposer’s temporary worker candidate pool(s); 2. Pre-screening candidates based on the position and work requirements provided by OCC; 3. Recommending pre-screened candidates for OCC’s consideration; 4. Identifying temporary workers (to be approved by OCC) for both short and longterm assignments; 5. Providing a pathway for temp-to-hire conversion of the Proposer’s temporary workers after 90 days of assignment to OCC; and 6. Providing other related services, as needed and/or agreed upon by both the Proposer and OCC. B. The Proposer shall provide a finalized list of service options that will be outlined in the contract between the Proposer and OCC. OCC presently anticipates requiring 10- 15 temporary full-time elections workers that may perform all or some of the following job duties. 1. Direct customer service, including interaction with the public, receiving and inputting records into OCC’s database. These job duties require the ability to accurately perform computer-based data entry. 2. Assist OCC staff with transporting election materials to/from OCC’s warehouse to the Voter Service Centers and other locations on Maui island; set up of Voter Service Centers. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 3. Transportation of election materials between various locations on Maui island. Requires Hawaii driver’s license. 4. Staffing of the Voter Service Centers includes working overtime as needed in the weeks leading up to, and including, the Primary Election on August 10 and the General Election on November 5, 2024. a. Set up and break down of elections stations, chairs, tables, etc., related to various tasks. b. Directing traffic. c. Assisting the voting public with directions. d. Assisting voters with computerized equipment. e. Setting up and refilling coolers; election worker food service. 5. Assisting the Distribution/Collection (“DC”) Team with access to the Voter Service Centers, loading and unloading vehicles, and transporting materials with DC teams as required. 6. Public relations, social media outreach, creation and placement of public service announcements, staffing community outreach events.
