The University of Kansas is seeking a conversational/generative AI tool to deliver automated chat functionality on a university website with primary scope including prospective student chat, customer service chat for enterprise services (such as IT and Enrollment Management) and ability to scale to additional use cases. Also seeking a conversational/generative AI tool to deliver text functionality to university students with primary scope including current undergraduate and graduate students with a goal of serving critical reminders, responding to text inquiries, and providing personalized nudges based on individual responses. This RFP is evaluating two AI functionalities. Up to two vendors may be selected to meet the needs expressed here.
