The City of Blue Springs currently owns and operates Eleven (11) signalized intersections, five (5) flashing beacons, and approximately 289 streetlights, and fiber optic interconnect lines. The City is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to perform preventative maintenance, inspection, repairs, and replacement of damaged or malfunctioning equipment associated with said facilities. The selected contractor shall be staffed with IMSA certified Level 2 and 3 personnel and have all equipment and materials necessary to perform the required maintenance and repair tasks. The selected contractor agrees to provide emergency response within two (2) hours of notification and nonemergency response within forty-eight (48) hours of notification. Preference will be given to contractors offering complete services without the need to use subcontractors. The annual scheduled maintenance items include: • Annual inspection and cleaning of the control cabinets • Annual replacement of the air filters • Annual check of the controllers operation • Annual check of controller and detection equipment • Annual check of the Opticom equipment • Annual cleaning of camera lenses (soap & water only) • Annual proof testing of all features associated with each intersection complete with documentation
