Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor must complete all required United States Postal Services (USPS) pre-sorted bulk mail processes, as specified in the USPS Domestic Mail Manual, section 245 Mail Preparation and all relevant sections, in-house for each direct mail package described herein. 2. Contractor must drop all mailings at the Conway, SC, USPS bulk mail facility located at 2570 Main Street, SC 29526. 3. Contractor must be able to deliver USPS forms to the University Mailing Services for approval and deliver to the Conway, SC, USPS bulk mail facility on the same day as the agreed-upon drop date for each mailing. Contractor may email paperwork to appropriate CCU Mail Services and admissions personnel for drop approvals. 4. Contactor must guarantee one per thousand cost for each drop of each direct mail package, regardless of quantity per individual mail drop. 5. Contractor must be able to imprint mailing indicias in-house if needed on envelopes, postcards or other components. 6. Contractor will be required to store printed components in a climate-controlled storage facility and provide regular inventory counts to the University. Storage facility must be located at Contractor’s physical location. 7. Contractor must be able to pick up printed components from or return printed components to the University’s campus within a twenty-four (24) hour notice. 8. Contractor must have variable digital printing capability in-house. 9. Contractor may be asked to perform additional processes to some mail files (e.g., merging and/or deduping files to eliminate duplicate records). 10. Contractor may be asked to provide any changed addresses (updated through NCOA) to the University. 11. Contractor must provide the USPS postage statements for each mail drop. 12. Some direct mail packages will include a personalized letter. Letter text will be provided to Contractor via MS Word document. 13. Contractor will be required to email a letter proof signoff (with five live names) for approval for each time packages-with-letters drop, within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of the draft documents from the University. 14. Contractor must not utilize third-party sources in performing the outlined services.
