2.6.1 Wallman Road: A. CMP Pipe Replacement: All CMP pipes located on this roadway have reached the end of their service life. Remove and replace approximately 3 existing large CMP pipes of varied diameter with new HDPE pipes. B. Install new stone headwalls at all pipe locations, utilizing existing stone or replacing with new to match in kind. C. Install rip rap / stone outfall protection as required to minimize future erosion. 2.6.2 Lost land Bridges: A. Rehabilitate two (2) existing bridges: The first bridge has a span of 25’ and the second bridge has a span of 50’. 1) Evaluate and repair existing stone and concrete bridge abutments and address stream channel undermining. 2) Install erosion control (rip rap) within the stream channel as required. 3) Evaluate and repair bridge seats, structural steel, and timber decking. 4) Replace all deteriorated members as required. 5) Replace the existing guard railing system. 6) Install load rating signage as part of the design process. 7) Correct bridge approaches at each structure and resurface roadways as required. B. Bridges shall be rehabilitated to achieve a minimum HS-20 load rating. C. Coordinate rehabilitation work with SHA to ensure these structures are reinspected and updated on the DNR bridge inventory. 2.6.3 Snaggy Mt. Bridge: A. Rehabilitate an existing bridge: The bridge has a span of 50’. 1) Evaluate and repair existing stone and concrete bridge abutments and address stream channel undermining. 2) Install erosion control (rip rap) within the stream channel as required. 3) Evaluate and repair bridge seats, structural steel, and timber decking. Replace all deteriorated members as required. 4) Replace the existing guard railing system. 5) Install load rating signage as part of the design process. 6) Correct bridge approaches at each structure and resurface roadways as required. B. Bridges shall be rehabilitated to achieve a minimum HS-20 load rating. C. Coordinate rehabilitation work with SHA to ensure these structures are reinspected and updated on the DNR bridge inventory. D. Coordinate project with adjacent landowner and ensure a land use agreement is achieved. (Property line runs down the center line of the roadway.)
