One technician will come to the Corporate Yard on Wednesday for 8 hours or less, within the operating hours of 06:00 am to 18:00 pm to perform tire services as detailed in the scope of services below including but not limited to: Mount & dismount large, loose and/or mounted truck tires (i.e. 11R 22.5, 12R 22.5, 315R 22.5); Mount, dismount & balance mounted and/or loose passenger tires; Walk City Yard to check tire conditions, check pressure, change tires as needed on Collection trucks; and Respond to Emergency calls as needed throughout the week; during business and after hours. Successful bidder will provide their own tools, equipment, and transportation, however, City will provide new tires and will dispose of old tires resulting from these services. Bidder is required to work weekly with Daniels Tires/Goodyear on ordering tires as needed. Tires will be charged to City of Redlands and approved by Fleet Services Coordinator. Bidder is required to prepare used Collection wheels for shipping to Goodyear for cleaning and powder coating at the expense of City of Redlands. A blanket Purchase Order will be issued to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by grand total based on estimated quantities shown for as needed services.
