Specifications include, but are not limited to: Evaluation Services fo Adult Correctional Officer Applicants, Statewide. When the need for services under this contract is determined, the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Personnel representative shall submit a timely request via email with the Contractor. The request shall include the projected recruit class start date, the tentative number of clients and the projected names, and the due dates for finalizing reports. The Contractor shall confirm whether or not the request for services can be filled and shall follow up via email within 2 business days to the requesting Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Personnel representative. The Screening and Testing occurs at two phases of the hiring process. The following services are requested: 1) The pre-conditional offer, which requires the review of standardized screening instruments to determine if the applicant is suitable for further consideration; and 2) The post-conditional offer, which requires the review of psychological assessments and tests to include a face-to-face interview with the applicant. Scope of Requested Services: A. The bifurcated testing/screening process will include the following: 1. Pre Condition of Employment written testing and evaluation with the following components: a. California Psychological Inventory (CPI), Form 434, Police and Public Safety Selection Report b. Pre Condition of Employment Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) c. State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAXI), Police and Public Safety Selection Report d. Integration of Testing and Background Data e. Disclosure Statement (Informed Consent) 2. Written summary report at the Pre Condition of Employment stage, to include: a. Suitability rating for each applicant (CA Post Background Investigation’s Dimensions. b. The rating report will be submitted to DCR, also identifying any psychological attributes that should be carefully evaluated in the course of the background investigation. 3. Post-offer written testing and evaluation for the remaining applicant with the following components: SECTION 2 –Scope of Work 7 RFP-24-PERS-29 a. Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), Police and Public Safety Selection Report b. Psychological History Questionnaire (Psy-Q) c. Supplemental Psy-Q d. Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-3, Corrections Candidate Interpretative Report (CCIR). e. Disclosure Statement (Informed Consent)
