Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Refurbishment the main electrical switchboard. 2. Replacement of the existing UPS with two UPS systems configured in a 2N design. 3. Modifications to the load side distribution to supply A/B circuits to each rack. 4. Any modifications to Fire Alarm and Site Monitoring Systems required to accommodate the new systems. 5. Removal and disposition of the existing UPS, UPS Batteries and gear, conduit, wire, etc. removed from service a part of the new work. 6. Survey and document the existing electrical distribution system. Note that exhibits included herein, and any Owner provided floor plans, one-line diagrams and other information from past construction projects, if provided, is not guaranteed to be correct or complete and Contractor shall field verify all such information. 7. Perform an IR survey of the entire electrical distribution system. 8. Conduct a power study, including fault current calculations, selective coordination, and arc flash analysis. 9. Survey and document the computer room branch circuiting, identifying each circuit to cabinet pairing. 10. Design of systems, equipment, circuits and work in a manner that minimizes interruptions, and risk of interruptions, to Owner’s operation.
