Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is soliciting Bids from qualified contractors to provide construction services for the Department of Emergency Services (DES) generator installation at Station 6-5, located at 680 N Seward Meridian Parkway, Wasilla. The scope includes removing an existing failed generator, installing a new generator and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), and replacing the underground electrical feed from the generator outbuilding to the fire station. 1. Contractor shall adhere to engineered design drawings Station 6-5 Generator - Construction Documents (see attachments) 1. Follow all General Construction notes and Sheet Notes specific to this project. 2. Install owner supplied Cummins Generator and ATS; i. NOTE: the ATS has been received and staged at Station 6-5. The generator ETA is July 17, 2024. Construction shall begin summer 2024 and all outside groundwork shall be completed before fall 2024 freeze up. This will allow for the generator to be installed and operational for winter 2025. 2. Assist Cummins on-site start-up, system testing, and owner training for both generator & ATS.
