Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● The Contractor shall coordinate with the School System Maintenance Supervisor, Mr. Greg Hayes, office – 770-254-2750 or cell 470-241-8393, at least two (2) working days prior to the pumping of tanks. ● The Contractor will be responsible to uncover and re-cover lids of the tanks, as required. ● The Contractor will be responsible for pumping and cleaning of all septic tanks listed in their response to this Request for Proposal. ● The Contractor will be responsible for cleaning of septic system filters per manufacturer’s recommendations. ● The Contractor will be responsible for the proper disposal of septage at an approved disposal site in a manner approved by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division and in accordance with 40 CFR Part 503. ● The Contractor shall provide a fully equipped, trained, and knowledgeable staff with adequate and proper tools and equipment to perform services in a professional and efficient manner. ● The Contractor shall provide proof, on request, that material removed from the septic tanks has been disposed of at sites approved by the Georgia Department of Human Resources. ● The Contractor shall perform all work related to the contract in accordance with regulations outlined in the Rules of Department of Human Resources Public Health, Chapter 290-5-26-.11, and the Department’s current Manual for On-Site Sewage Management Systems. ● All required work must be completed between the Dates of July 1, 2024 and July 26, 2024.
