The City of Lawrenceville (City) wishes to renovate an existing and vacated two-story, ten-unit multifamily building into a transitional housing facility to be operated by Impact46, a local non-profit organization. The property of 0.55 acres is located at 179 Plainview Drive. The proposed renovation plan is to convert two of the existing units to offices to be utilized by Impact46 and the City, and the remaining units are to be renovated to meet all federal HUD requirements. The project is being funded through federal grants received by Gwinnett County and the City of Lawrenceville.)The City of Lawrenceville owns the property, but the contract for this work will be contracted and managed by Impact46, Inc. who is going to operate the Housing Center.
