Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected vendor shall provide the following services and deliverables: • Assessment of our organization's existing network infrastructure and security requirements. • Design and implementation of a customized intrusion detection platform tailored to our specific needs. • Configuration and tuning of detection rules, alerts, and thresholds to minimize false positives and negatives. • Integration with existing security systems and tools, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions. • Training and knowledge transfer sessions for our IT staff on the operation and maintenance of the intrusion detection platform. The City of Thomasville requires that each vendor prepare a detailed implementation plan outlining the required tasks, estimated hours, responsibility, major deliverables, and timing. At a minimum, the RFP response will cover the following areas: • Implementation approach • Environment Installation, including supporting software and hardware platform installation and configuration, if necessary. • The vendor shall be responsible for assisting the City of Thomasville with configuring all required environments, including testing, training, and production. • Application setup (training, tailoring, configuration, end-user set up) • Application-level security design and configuration • Design and development of custom reports
