Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Equipment including conveyor bed sections, drives, take ups, all transport conveyor, static diverter, automated diverters (horizontal and vertical), sideguards, slope plate carousels, shrouding, floor supports, ceiling hangers and headers, panels and conveyor trim, warning beacons and audio messages, draft curtains, security/fire doors, controls, software, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), electrical equipment and materials, catwalks, platforms and access ladders, and guard rails as indicated or required to provide complete and operable systems. 2. Coiling Security and Fire Doors as specified herein, including operation, controls, interfaces, and power as described in this section. 3. Guardrails adjacent to conveyors and recirculating devices as indicated on the BHS drawings. 4. Stairs, crossover platforms, and maintenance crossovers to allow personnel access to remote conveyors are part of this Scope of Work. Stairs, railings, and metal fabrication requirements are specified in Division 05. 5. Electrical work and controls for baggage handling equipment and related equipment (coiling doors, etc.) referenced in this section and on the baggage system drawings, unless noted otherwise. 6. Interface connections and coordination as specified herein including but not limited to, fire alarm and smoke detection systems, as well as security access control system(s). 7. High Level Computer system [Report, SAC, MDS Servers] shall be modified to reflect the modified layout of this project, as shown on the Baggage System Contract Drawings. 8. Explosive Detection System (EDS) Interface - The scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, coordination with the EDS provider and TSA for necessary provisions required for a complete operable interface with the equipment. 9. The BHSC shall conform to the Check Baggage Inspection System (CBIS) operational requirements delineated in the most recent edition of TSA's Planning Guidelines and Design Standards (PGDS) at the time of bid award. 10. Testing and commissioning of the system is required for approval. This is inclusive of any and all testing required by TSA or its authorized agency. These coordination requirements are in addition to the performance acceptance requirements specified elsewhere in this document. a. All labor and materials are to be provided by the BHSC, except for the operations TSA’s equipment, unless directed otherwise by TSA. Pre-ISAT Testing requirements are to be based on the testing requirements herein, per the TSA’s ISAT requirements, and the Site Acceptance Test Plan approved by TSA. b. All signed off testing information is to be included in the Testing Readiness Report (TRR).
