Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall properly remove the abandoned tanks and infrastructure at the identified sites, and then reclaim the site in compliance with KRS 353.562-564. The work shall include 1) removal and proper disposal of all abandoned surface storage tanks, 2) removal or proper abandonment of associated flow lines, 3) removal of contaminated soil to as much as 3ft in depth, 4) elimination of all berms, dikes, and associated structures, 5) reclamation of the site implementing best management practices. 6) proper disposal of all oil or brine contaminated soils and liquids; 7) final grading and reclamation of the disturbed surface area; and 8) sampling and testing as needed.
