A. See Mount Pleasant District Office exhibits for complete understanding of demolition and construction scope. This list is generic in nature for major items and intended only to give an overview of general project scope. B. The contractor will be responsible for all demolition as indicated on the project drawings. C. Remove vinyl wallcovering and trim, remove no-use outlets, patch / seal, and finish wall. Paint per specification. Provide clear out-side corner guards. D. Cover and care for existing flooring; carpet, tile, ceramic tile, and rubber cove base. E. Modify ceilings, as needed, throughout work area. F. Replace damaged ceiling grid and tiles. G. Relocate electrical as required at the work areas, including relocation of Light Switches where Doors are Relocated. H. Install and modify AC vents and returns as needed at the specific Work Areas. I. Repair or replace any damaged sheetrock or backing on walls. J. At Office #126; Relocate the Office Door and all Hardware from the Corridor 172 side, to the Corridor 173 side. Patch and Repair and Paint all associated walls; corner to corner. K. At Office #153; Relocate the Office Door and all Hardware from the Corridor 173 side as shown in Exhibit F.12_Mount Pleasant DistrictOffice Floor and Work Plan, and Patch and Repair and Paint all associated walls; corner to corner. L. Outside of Room #104, and across from the Women’s Toilet Room; Remove all cabinetry, sink and refrigerator. Install all new upper Cabinets and lower cabinets, to accommodate 1 Small Sink, with a disposal, a DPS provided Counter-Top Ice Maker, as specified, (with all utility components of water, sewer, power) and power for DPS Provided microwave and Coffee Maker. M. At Conference Room #144; Remove existing Cabinetry and prepare for all new upper and lower cabinet units. Maintain a sufficient opening in your Construction, for the return installation of the existing refrigerator, Contractor to provide and install a new 15-inch-wide Sink with a Disposal. Install a new 5 or 6 Gallon, electric Water Heater, in the cabinet space below, plumbed for use at this sink. N. Replace the existing Drain Pump and lines to the waste side of the new sink, and plumb same for efficient daily use of the sink. O. At Room #152: construct a new “Z-Shaped” wall, per the photo shown on page 4, of Exhibit F.11_Mount Pleasant District Office Existing Conditions Photos, Floor thru the Ceiling, with 1 new Door, to create 2 Offices of this suite; adding 1 new Light Switch; controlling the lights at the new Office, beyond the wall. P. Provide turnkey project as indicated on the drawings and in the IFB.
