Specifications include, but are not limited to: East Hartford Public Schools (EHPS) seeks to enter into a multi-year indefinite quantity contract withqualified and licensed arborists to provide as-needed Tree Pruning and Removal services. Services willbe provided throughout the EHPS portfolio consisting of 18 buildings and over 200 acres of propertyWork will be performed on high-profile properties; therefore, contractors must be able to perform theirservices in a neat, clean, and professional manner. High quality and attention to detail are required. 1. Tree pruning utilizing bucket truck or climbers. Pruning must be conducted by a licensedarborist.2. Tree removal utilizing bucket truck and/or climbers. Contractor must be able to employ proper means and methods to safely remove trees in a variety of settings including: close to/overhanging buildings, close proximity to power/utility lines, open field, wooded areas, andcourtyards.3. Removal and disposal of all tree debris from site. Redistribution of wood chips on site may be allowed at the discretion of EHPS.4. Stump grinding5. Tree health evaluations and recommendations6. Coordination with Town Tree Wardens to ensure all legal requirements surrounding treeremoval are met
