Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Removal of an existing construction trailer from within the Hinsdale Wave Laboratory facility; • Add a new safety simulator lab inside the facility, adjacent to the existing driving and bicycling simulator; • Add door access controls to the main entry and new simulator lab; • Reconstruct a section of parking at the entrance to provide adequate accessible parking spaces; • Add a concrete pedestrian pathway from the building to the public sidewalk; • Provide a new, 6-inch sewer lateral to connect into the Jefferson sewer main line; The ADDITIVE ALTERNATE (Replace a section of existing asphalt within the west wing with new structural concrete) described in the construction documents shall be part of the Base Bid. There are No Alternates required for this project.
