Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the County Clerk, County of Maui (“OCC”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to invite interested proposers to submit proposals to provide safe, reliable, cost effective, and timely air transport of election supplies to/from Maui, Molokai, and Lāna‘i in conjunction with the primary and general elections on August 10 and November 5, 2024. One (1) aircraft is needed to transport election supplies from Molokai Airport (MKK) and one (1) aircraft is needed to transport election supplies from Lāna‘i Airport (LNY) to Kahului Airport Commuter Terminal or Heliport. Therefore, a total of two (2) aircraft are required for each election day. A Voter Service Center will be established on Molokai and Lāna‘i to service voters leading up to and on election day. On election day, Voter Service Centers will close at 7:00 p.m. After the center closes, election supplies are packed and transported by election staff to the respective airports. Election supplies will be loaded in the aircraft to be transported by the Proposer to the Kahului airport. Election staff will be at the Kahului airport to receive the election supplies from the Proposer.
