Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Fleet Vehicle Repair and Maintenance- EHPS owns a fleet of about (25) over-the-road vehicles, mostly diesel trucks in the F-350 to F-550 range equipped with plowing packages and service vans. Services required typically include: a. Diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of any vehicle-related issues. b. Routine preventive maintenance and service work such as oil changes, tires, brakes, etc. c. Any and all vehicle repair work including: gasoline and diesel engine repairs, electrical systems, chassis/suspension, exhaust, etc. d. Rebuilding and overhaul of vehicle components to extend vehicle life. e. Repairs and emergency repairs (especially during snow events) to plow and other truck-mounted equipment (dump bodies, sanders, hydraulics, etc), including welding services. f. Mobile (on customer’s site) service capabilities are preferred, but not required. Respondents should elaborate on this capability in their proposal. 2. Power Equipment Repair and Maintenance- EHPS owns a large inventory of power equipment, from large field mowers to gas string trimmers. a. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of snowblowers, mowers, blowers, trimmers, and a variety of other grounds maintenance equipment. b. Engine and component overhaul/rebuild services. c. Preventive maintenance (oil/filter changes) are usually performed in-house, but vendors may be asked to perform these services. d. Ability to pick up and deliver equipment for service when requested. 3. Towing Services a. MUST be able to tow/flatbed commercial vehicles up to a Ford F-550 sized vehicle equipped with a plow and bed-mounted sander. b. Towing services will be compensated on a hookup + mileage model (see Appendix A-Pricing).
