Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Procurement Division for the Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) will receive Bids from qualified and interested Bidders to implement drainage improvements for two (2) portions of Tall Pine Road Drainage Basin. Tall Pine Road historically lacks typical grey stormwater infrastructure (pipes and catch basins) to capture runoff, as specified within the Solicitation Documents contained herein. In general, but not limited to, the project proposes low impact development (LID) practices to contain and treat existing nuisance water standing in the road up to the 10-year rain event. Green infrastructure (GI) improvements proposed include a bioretention area incorporating native plantings and engineered soil media with high filtration and storage capacity, and shallow bio-swales to capture and infiltrate water through a layer of engineered soil media. The construction time for this project shall be ninety (90) calendar days from the commencement date in the Notice to Proceed.
