Specifications include, but are not limited to: i. Contractor will be responsible to pick-up and properly dispose of all categories of waste provided in this section per Attachment B-Dumping Schedule and Locations. The District has multiple types of waste. The following categories generally define each type. 1. General Waste: This type of waste includes dry and wet kitchen waste, office waste, custodial waste, and shop waste. 2. Landscaping/Construction Waste (No Asbestos): This type of waste includes but not limited to landscaping and construction debris. This waste might be collected and transported to your disposal site or transfer station by a district vehicle. (will need cost per ton to dump) ii. Furnish trash receptacles as necessary to accommodate the District’s current and future needs during the term of the contract. iii. Additional Pickups 1. Contractor will provide point of contact for scheduling of locations when additional collections are required after public or other events. Flexibility in providing the additional collections is needed. 2. The District will pay an extra charge for any additional pickups; this additional fee is to be provided in your cost proposal. Any scheduled pick-ups that are missed will be deducted from the monthly billings. iv. Landscaping/Construction Waste Requirements 1. District will transport general waste from our schools to your receptacle site or transfer station for the disposal of this type of waste. Include the location of the disposal site or transfer station for the debris generated by other departments within the District. District will be charged tonnage rate indicated in the cost proposal.
