Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Phase II will include (not inclusive) a new cafeteria, new serving area, remodel of the existing kitchen, and library on the second floor above the new cafeteria with an exterior veranda and internal access to an external staircase. Also, the removal of walls in the existing cafeteria that open to the outside courtyard will be required. The library will initially be built as three classrooms. In Phase III the walls making up the three classrooms will need to be removed. • Phase III will include approximately (not inclusive) 22 classrooms, bathrooms, offices, breakout rooms, a stage, closets, removing walls installed during Phase III in the library area. • The School anticipates the following with respect to the new spaces (not all inclusive): The classrooms will have doors, windows, carpeting tiles, and cabinetry matching other classrooms in the building; electrical, TV, phone, and internet connections; and HVAC. The breakout rooms will have doors and carpeting matching other intervention rooms in the building; electrical, TV, phone, and internet connections; and VAC. The single use restrooms will have one toilet and one sink; tile flooring matching other restrooms in the building; a door matching other single use restrooms in the building; electrical connections; and HVAC. The hallway(s) will have doors and carpeting matching other hallways in the building; electrical connections; intercom speakers; and HVAC. The vestibule will have doors, windows, and walk off mat flooring matching other vestibules in the building. Wall heights of the new areas will match existing wall heights in the building. New areas will have carbon monoxide and smoke detectors as required by code. o The School anticipates that other work and improvements will need to be done in connection with constructing the new addition, including (not inclusive): Pavers and/or other hard surface in the courtyard area Tying into our current keycard access at each new door. Adding approx. 15 new cameras and DVR integrating into our existing system Adding additional security devises (motion sensors, door sensors, etc.) Repurposing drain in courtyard area Adding outside lights in courtyard area Capping and/or rerouting sprinkler lines that are currently watering the grass in the area where the new addition and improvements will be built Remodeling/renovating the portions of the building that are adjacent to the proposed new addition so that the new addition can be constructed properly. Replacing all dead trees and plants from Phase I (from the year 2021), Skylights; and Closing in existing windows.
