Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide a detailed space study, including an implementation plan that builds off the findings and recommendations of the "Telework Impact Study" completed in September 2022. The study will focus on the 49 buildings noted in the 2022 study, Appendix B, page 19 (see attached), and must incorporate office space use reduction requirements as well as current and planned telework levels with a focus on administrative office space efficiency, providing specific recommendations, cost estimates, and cost savings. WSDOT Space Use Study - Scope/Deliverables • Development of low, medium, and high scenarios based on reducing space use, with the high space reduction scenario being based on a minimum of a 30 percent reduction by 2030. • Development of detailed information on any increased capital and other implementation costs under each scenario. • Development of detailed information on reduced costs, such as leases, facility maintenance, and utilities, under each scenario. • An analysis of opportunities to collocate with other state, local, and other public agencies to reduce costs and improve cost-efficiency while meeting utilization standards. • If applicable, an assessment of the commercial value associated with the sale of the property from consolidation and other space efficiency measures.
