Specifications include, but are not limited to: The pump station was originally constructed in the mid 1960’s and enlarged in the late-1980’s. The structural system consists primarily of cast-in-place concrete walls and diaphragms below grade and concrete beams, columns, and slabs with infill masonry walls above grade. The exterior walls are clad with brick veneer. The goal of this project is to remove and replace the existing gravel ballasted built-up roof covering and roof insulation at the Main Pump Station with a new Thermoplastic Polyolefin Roof over new roof insulation. Work covered by this contract shall include all associated work and appurtenances shown on the contract drawings and as specified including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Furnish, erect, maintain and remove all temporary protection measures. 2. Remove and dispose of the existing modified bitumen mineral surface membrane and saturated insulation board 3. Remove and reset the existing rooftop ventilation/HVAC units and replace roof curbs with new 18 gauge minimum galvanized steel (G90) continuous welded seams and base plate and new Type 304 or Type 316 roof curb adapters. 4. Provide and install new continuous polyisocyanurate insulation system to provide an overall minimum R value of 20 across the entire roof surface. 5. Provide and install new flashings, drip edge and weather resistive coverings. 6. Provide new 26 gauge Type 304 stainless steel pipe portals/line shacks. 7. Install any sealants required by the system manufacturer. 8. Provide textured TPO walkpads at locations indicated. 9. Remove and reset existing Kalwall Skylight System. If existing skylight cannot be reused, then contractor shall provide alternate bid for replacement with a new Kalwall Skylight System. 10. Provide rooftop fall protection to include guardrails and suspended maintenance anchor posts.
