The Housing and Community Development Department with the City of Kansas City, Missouri is requesting proposals to provide a Non-Congregate, Low Barrier Shelter facility to assist unsheltered families and individuals within our community for qualified populations associated with the HOME ARP Allocation Plan as approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In addition, the City of Kansas City will be providing non-profit operating and capacity building assistance as well as supportive housing services. Supportive services include homeless prevention and housing counseling. Also included is Capacity Building, Eligible Operating Costs, and Administration. This funding is one-time and not recurring or renewable. Priority will be given during scoring to low barrier providers.
