Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District will have the need to procure professional services from a licensed and/or certified Lead, Asbestos, and Hazardous Materials survey and testing laboratory consultant to ensure that the project sites and existing improvements are free from hazardous materials, and/or to verify the presence of hazardous materials and develop a work plan to remove, contain, or otherwise mitigate the effects of hazardous materials to the school site. All work by this consultant must be performed in accordance with Division of State Architect (DSA), California Department of Education (CDE), California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal-OSHA), and all other agencies having jurisdiction.
