Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected contractor will be responsible for the following key activities: • Develop and implement a detailed survey to gather insights from employers, regional training providers, and community-based organizations. The methodology used for the survey should also be designed in a way that future boards can easily follow and replicate the process in a limited amount of time. • Conduct listening to sessions across six (6) economic regions in Alaska to facilitate in-depth discussions and gather qualitative feedback. • Analyze survey data, listening session inputs, and other relevant information to identify regional workforce needs, gaps, and opportunities. • Create a comprehensive needs assessment report with data visualization and actionable recommendations for AWIB’s strategic planning. Objectives and Outcomes: This project aims to achieve the following objectives: • Deepen understanding of employer needs to guide AWIB’s goals and initiatives. • Assess regional opportunities and gaps in workforce development across stakeholder types. • Provide AWIB with actionable data and recommendations to support filling workforce gaps effectively.
