Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) Contractor shall attend a pre-construction meeting to discuss setup, staging area for materials and equipment, appropriate work hours, safety, and production. Review schedule for replacing the glass and face cap on the three sections of curtainwall on the front of the building facing North Main Street to ensure the proper sequence is followed. B) Town is willing to work with Contractor who is awarded the bid regarding the time schedule of the project. The schedule will address how many areas of the building can be shut down at one time for the project the number of areas Contractor anticipates being able to work in during a given day. Contractor and Town will have discussions and come to an agreed upon final Project schedule. Contractor agrees to provide a good faith effort to complete work in accordance with the Project schedule and must notify Town of any deviations from the final Project schedule. Should such a deviation occur Town and Contractor will agree upon a new schedule to complete the job and complete a change order if required for time needed past completion date in the Notice to Proceed. C) Town will be responsible for obtaining all permits necessary for the project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to provide the Town’s representative with the necessary information to obtain the permits. D) Contractor will remove the existing trim and glass from three sections of curtainwall in the front of the Town Hall building located at 134 N. Main Street, Fuquay-Varina. The existing curtainwall framing material will remain. E) Contractor shall install new one inch bronze tempered low-e glass in each of the 31 openings in the three sections of curtainwall (see attached drawing for approximate dimensions). All dimensions to be field verified prior to ordering of glass. F) Contractor shall install new exterior trim on the three sections of curtain wall in bronze anodized color. G) Contractor shall remove and replace the existing storefront door pair at main entrance. H) Contractor will utilized the existing curtainwall frame. I) Contractor shall install doors as stated in the materials specifications below. J) Contractor shall use to the existing mag lock. K) Contractor shall provide any necessary wiring hookup and including any and all labor and materials in the bid.
