Specifications include, but are not limited to: Preparation: • Inspect and clean the designated roadways to ensure they are free of debris, vegetation and loose materials. • Repair any existing pavement defects, such as cracks, using approved methods. • Implement traffic control measures per MUTCD requirements to ensure the safety of workers. • Hand out notices the public prior to and during construction that w ill minimize impact to their subdivision access. HDMB Application: • Apply a high-quality HDMB mixture to the designated roadways as per the APWA specifications and project specifications. • Ensure an even and consistent application of the HDMB to achieve the desired surface characteristics. • Work closely with the project manager to meet any specific requirements related to aggregate type, mix design, and application thickness.
