Specifications include, but are not limited to: Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate (18.2 – 25%) (Liquid) a) Product must be ANSI/NSF standard 60 certified, shall be registered with NSF for drinking water and approved by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control for use in drinking water treatment. Product must also be registered in accordance with FIFRA sec. 3(c)(5). b) Shall contain 5 – 8% free available copper. c) Shall have a density of 1.18 – 1.185 at 20 degrees Celsius. d) Shall be shipped in 275 or 330 gallon IBC totes. e) All chemicals deliveries must be made Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All deliveries must be completed by 4:30 p.m., unless otherwise arranged with the Superintendent or his designee. f) The Vendor is required to deliver within three (3) working days from date of order unless otherwise noted. The Vendor shall state anticipated delivery time for each shipment. Exceptions will not be accepted. g) When a chemical order is placed by the plant for delivery, no partial shipment of that order will be accepted unless pre-arranged with the Superintendent or his designee. Final shipment of the order will be within the time period approved. h) The Vendor shall deliver the chemical by a commercial motor freight or by private company truck and delivered to the loading platform at the plant.
