The widening of E. 96th Street N. Roadway Improvements, North 119th E. Ave to N. 129th E. Ave – East Side of Bridge – Contracts I & II shall include adding the following: Contract I (Designed by BKL, Inc) 1) New lanes east and west bound lanes on the existing alignment east of the bridge on E. 96th Street N. to N. 120th E. Ave 2) New right-turn lane on E. 96th Street N., east of N. 129th E. Ave, 3) New right-turn lane on the west side of N. 129th E. Ave. 4) New right-turn lane onto US Hwy 169 on-ramp 5) Modifications to Owasso Expressway in front of Walgreens 6) Remove and replace two (2) sets of signals to the new lane configurations at the Owasso Expressway (ODOT Service Road) and at N. 129th E. Ave. Also included is the purchase of new poles for the future intersection improvements at the West Exit Ramp (Wal-Mart) and at N. 121st E. Ave (Smith Farm Road) for a future project. The purpose of the purchase is to reduce wait-time for when the west side of the bridge project is bid. 7) Restripe roads for new alignments and additional turn lanes Contract II (Design by City of Owasso staff) 1) Remove and replace concrete panels on Owasso Expressway in front of the commercial areas from Logan’s Steakhouse to Walgreens south entrance. 2) Modify selected driveways for drainage purposes 3) Restripe roadway to match configurations.
