For each tubing diameter, the copper tubing length and configuration shall be as specified below: Diameter (in.) Interior surfaces of copper tubing shall be free of any carbon film and/or discolorations. The presence of any carbon film and/or discolorations on the interior surface of any copper tubing shall be grounds for rejection of the entire lot. Removal of rejected copper tubing shall be done at no cost to the Board of Water Supply. Contractor shall take extra care in the delivery of the 20 foot length copper pipe. Copper pipe will not be accepted if the pipe or card board box is wet, bent, or damaged due to shipment. Boxes will require running boards so a forklift can be used to move the boxes. The Board of Water Supply will inspect shipment and reject shipment if any pipe is damaged due to being bent or dinged; or the box is wet.
