Specifications include, but are not limited to: Greenwood School District 50 is inviting all qualified firms to provide the supplies, equipment and labor for the installation of Safety and Security Film. The District’s standard of safety and security film is manufactured by Suntek. The family of films includes Shatter resistance, IR-rejecting, solar control, Reflective films designed to be applied to interior window surfaces to hold broken glass together and reduce solar heat and ultraviolet light. Contractor must be a certified installer and dealer by Suntek before the bid due date. Contractor must comply with all installation requirements that Suntek requires. The District anticipates various needs throughout the term of the contract. The sq ft price will be used to price each project at the time of the need. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to inform the district if the film requested is not recommended for a particular application. The Director of Safety and Director of Maintenance will determine the work schedule and will coordinate between the contractor and the school principal. It Is the contractor’s responsibility to dispose of all materials, clean up chemical spills, etc. at the end of each working date and upon completion of the project. All debris shall be removed from the job site and disposed of off-site. Contractor must follow all applicable regulations while on District property including no smoking, no weapons and drug-free policies. All permits required must be provided by the contractor.
