Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Conduct an analysis of existing traffic conditions, including traffic volume, peak hours, pedestrian/bicycle movement, and traffic flow patterns in the project area (see project area on attachment A). b. Evaluate safety concerns such as accident history, visibility issues, impediments to entry to and exits from Folly Road, pedestrian safety, and compliance with traffic regulations. c. Identify potential causes of congestion and delays at the intersection area. d. Propose short-term and long-term improvement measures, considering factors such as signal timing adjustments, lane configurations, signage, and pedestrian amenities. e. Create estimates for recommended improvements. f. Prepare a detailed report outlining findings, analysis, and recommendations. g. Assist City with SCDOT encroachment permit submittal and approval.
