Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Vehicle Specifications and Requested Upfitting Equipment i. The Company shall rely on Exhibit 1 provided by the County as it pertains to the goods and services being sought. ii. Company warrants and agrees that all materials and equipment supplied pursuant to an ensuing Contract shall be NEW and manufactured and produced in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, terms, standards, and/or requirements of all Federal, State, and local authorities. Performance shall also comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Company agrees to furnish at the County’s request a certificate of compliance as the County may require. iii. Any other standard items of equipment, components, and accessories listed in the manufacturer’s specifications or brochures necessary for a complete operating unit, whether specified or not, shall be included. If not requested as part of Exhibit 1, Company shall clearly note in its Bid Form any additional costs the County would incur associated with the requested upfitting and installation. B. Coordination of Work i. Captain Gary Noel in the Waller County Sheriff’s Office will coordinate all activities with the Company. The County must approve the work and related costs prior to the commencement of work. ii. All equipment and parts will be ordered as required and will be shipped to the Company’s place of business. iii. The County will deliver the motor vehicles to the Company’s place of business for the contracted services. C. Location of Work i. When work is performed at the Company’s worksite, the vehicles shall be stored in a secure area or building and must be locked when it is not being serviced. The Company is responsible for all County patrol vehicles and equipment in its possession against damages from vandalism, theft, accident and/or any circumstances that may imperil or diminish County assets until returned to the County.
