Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) The instrument must have a weight of 20 lbs or less. 2) The instrument’s dimensions must be 15" x 15" x 15" (W x D x H) or smaller. 3) Must be able to connect to the internet via both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections for remote diagnostics as well as for integration into the local network. 4) Must enable the transfer of transcriptomic probes or antibody oligo tags from BOTH formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and fresh frozen cryosectioned tissue that has been affixed to positively charged glass slides to mRNA capture slides. 5) Must be able to regulate the temperature for probe transfer between 32 and 55 C°. 6) Must be compatible with mRNA capture slides that allow unbiased transcript coverage of human and mouse transcriptomes. 7) Must allow the capture of a minimum of two regions of interest, with dimensions between 6.5 x 6.5 mm and 15 x 15 mm and allow for spatial resolutions between 0.5 and 55 um. 8) Must be compatible with tissue that has been previously stained with hematoxylin and eosin AS WELL AS tissue that has been previously stained with immunofluorescent markers.
