The Village is looking to continue with a VoIP solution, either on-premises or cloud. The result should be a seamless system while providing a quality product. The proposed solution should provide for the following: • 400 softphone users • 100 desktop phones • 30 conference room devices • 20 digital lines for analog devices (fax machines, etc.) • 75 wall-mount phones Final numbers will be determined during the discovery and planning phase of the project. The new system will be required to integrate with Microsoft Teams and our 365 environments, provide for softphone and mobile users, and have high availability options. For on-premises solutions, the following are required: • A gateway for remote users to connect to the phone system without the need for a VPN connection. • Compatibility with current versions of VMWare and Hyper-V platforms • PRI/SIP trunk redundancy options • Analog line support for fax machines and other devices • Call recording including remote users • Microsoft Teams integration • Call center capabilities and reporting for 311 • Connection to in-building overhead paging system • Allow for external access to call data for reporting For Cloud-based systems, the following are required: • Current number portability • Local Analog line support for fax machines and other devices • Call recording • Microsoft Teams integration • Call center capabilities for 311 • Connection to in-building overhead paging system • Allow for external access to call data for reporting • Restrict Village data to US-based cloud locations
