The City of Baytown has intentions of replacing an existing 24ft enclosed trailer for the Police Dive Team. The replacement will be a 30ft enclosed, insulated, bumper pull/race style trailer. The mobile trailer will be used by the Baytown Police Department Regional Type 2 Underwater Search/Recovery Team personnel for response to emergency incidents involving all types of accidental and criminal activity scenes. This trailer will be a mobile equipment unit/ technical repair space/ and on scene command area for the Dive Team. The trailer will be climate controlled via a single ductless mini-split AC unit. The trailer will have a combination propane/gasoline fuel inverter generator enclosed in a tongue/front wall mounted cabinet. The rear door will be a ramp style door with a non-slip walking surface. Both interior and exterior wall coverings will be of similar material, smooth and secure with no rivets. The interior shall have no wood or carpeting materials. All wiring must be discretely hidden with no wiring chases/conduit. The floor will conform to specifications noted in trailer requirements. Custom, corrosion-resistant lightweight aluminum commercial use cabinets will be provided/installed by awarded vendor as to below specifications. The trailer will include a fresh water cold tank and pump to supply an outside shower unit with water and pressure to decontaminant divers/equipment on scene.
