Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Kinston is hereby requesting informal bids for the removal of 200 ft of curb and gutter. All bidders must meet the conditions of this bid request. The conditions are: 1) The scope of work includes removal of 200 ft of unlevel curb and gutter, grinding/removal of tree roots, grading, and replacing curb and gutter on correct grade to match existing Curb and Gutter. Location of work is on the west side of 800 block of Hardee Rd. Work area is identified between two purple flags and purple paint indication start and finish. See specifications included in this bid package. 2) The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. 3) The contractor is responsible for coordinating with all agencies regarding traffic control, utility lines, etc.
