Amtrak Electric Traction Department will have a contractor perform aerial flight assessments of its electric traction systems along the Northeast Corridor. This includes but is not limited to all Amtrak’s catenary, signal, and transmission structures, substations, electrical lines/components, and other system assets with the potential to affect the Right of Way. The “Right of Way” here is defined as the railroad and property owned, governed, and maintained by Amtrak, National Railroad Passenger Corporation (NRPC). The portion of Amtrak’s electrified Northeast Corridor (NEC) to be assessed to include but not limited to; the limits estimated from Washington, DC to Boston, MA and from Philadelphia as far west as the limits of Harrisburg, PA.
