Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1) Replace rooftop heat-pump units # 1-24 with new packaged heat-pumps. All units shall be equipped with packaged controls with BACnet MSTP communication cards for BMS integration, Direct drive evaporator blower motors, 0-100% economizers with controls for demand ventilation, supply air discharge temperature sensors, outdoor air temperature sensors, unit or duct mounted co2 sensors, new zone temperature sensors, return air smoke detectors, hail guards, and heat strips equivalent to the existing heaters if any. All RTU disconnects shall be changed to new heavy duty disconnects and all old, weathered conduit shall be replaced with new outdoor weatherproof conduit as close to roof penetrations as possible. All drains off of new units shall be secured in a manner to prevent the drain pan threads from being cracked if the drain is moved or bumped into. All units shall be leveled to an acceptable level to prevent water from standing, leaking, or building up sludge in drain pans. Any roof cutting due to leveling, penetrations, or curb adapters shall be coordinated with CANNON ROOFING. Any roof work shall be performed or authorized by CANNON ROOFING to preserve existing roof warranty. Any cost from CANNON ROOFING shall be included in total complete cost from HVAC contractor. NOTE: DUCTWORK TO BE ADDRESSED AT A LATER DATE. (2) Replace unit # 25 with new split system heat-pump. (Same points to be equipped as 1 -24) (3) Mechanical contractor to install Mitsubishi or equal mini split brand heat-pump in personal office as directed by Project Manager. Indoor unit type to be over the ceiling medium static ducted. Condenser to be mounted on the roof level, secured from wind and installed on cushioned caddy feet to prevent roof damage. Electrical wiring to be installed with correctly sized breaker and service disconnect at the outdoor unit. Roof penetrations to also be coordinated with CANNON ROOFING and included in job cost. (4) Mechanical contractor to install multi-zone Mitsubishi or equal mini split brand heat-pump in Polygraph rooms. Polygraph # 1, Quiet room #1, Polygraph #2, Quiet room #2, Shall all have their own individual indoor units and thermostats. Each zone will need to be controlled separately. Contractor to install dampers in existing supply and return ducts to each room and close them off. Supply and return ducts to remain for redundancy. Condenser unit to be mounted on the roof leveled, secured from wind and installed on cushioned caddy feet to prevent roof damage. Electrical wiring to be installed with correctly sized breaker and have service disconnect at the outdoor unit. Roof penetrations to also be coordinated with CANNON ROOFING and included in job cost.
