Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5. CONTRACTOR MUST HOLD A CURRENT CALIFORNIA C-4 LICENSE - BOILER, HOT WATER HEATING AND STEAM FITTING, AND B -GENERAL BUILDING. 6. ANY DAMAGED CAUSED BY THE CONTRACT MUST BE REPAIRED BY CONTRACTOR AT THEIR OWN COST. 7. ONLY THREE (3) MAXIMUM STRAIGHT WORKING DAYS IS ALLOW THE DOWNTIME OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER #1. 8. PERFORM LOCK OUT TAG OUT (LOTO) ON STEAM SYSTEM AS WELL AS FOR THE WATER SYSTEM. CONTRATOR MUST USE THEIR OWN LOTO. 9. DISCONNECT THE STUDS AND NUTS AT THE HEAT EXCHANGER CONNECTING FLANGES. 10. USING AN A-FRAME BUILT FOR THIS APPLICATION, REMOVE INSULATION AN THE SEPARATE PIECES ON THE HEAT EXHANGER T O EXPOSE IT. 11. REMOVE THE DAMAGED GASKET. 12. ANY VISIBLE STEAM CUT FROM THE FLANGES MUST BE REPAIR. 13. CLEAN ALL GASKET FACES (FLANGES) AND INSTALL NEW GASKET MATERAIL GASKET MUST BE RATED AT 175 PSI AND 375 Deg. F. 14. INSTALL NEW 3/4" VACCUM BREAKER. 15. USING THE TUBE BUNDLE BACK INSIDE THE HEAT EXCHANGER AND REPLACE ALL STUDS AND NUTS. 16. REMOVED ALL FOREIGH MATERIALS AND/OR ANY OTHER DEBRIS FOUND AT THE TUBE BUNDLE THAT PREVENT THE WATER FLOW. 17. MOVE THE TUBE BUNDLE BACK INSIDE THE HEAT EXCHANGER AND REPLACE ALL STUD AND NUTS. 18. REPLACE ALL PIPING GASKETS. 19. RECONNECT ALL PIECES INTO THEIR ORIGNAL POSISTIONS 20. OPEN THE ISOLATION VALVE AND FILL THE HEAT EXCHANGER WITH WATER AND HYDROSTATICALLY TEST TO ENSURE THAT THERE ARE NO LEAKS WITH THE PLANT ENGINEERING ASSISTANCE. 21. PUT THE HEAT EXCHANGER INTO SERVICE 22. RE-INSTALL THE INSULATION 23. LEAVE THE HEAT EXCHANGER READY FOR OR IN SERVICE. 24. CLEAN UP THE AREA AFTER EACH DAY OF WORK.
