The successful provider shall be capable of providing qualified homemaking services to up to 200 seniors. Each senior client will receive between one (1) to three (3) hours per visit on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The scope of work for this project includes provision of staffing/personnel, staff scheduling, travel to client homes, completion of identified homemaker tasks and documentation of the home visit. Supplies to perform the work will be provided by senior clients. The selected vendor(s) will initiate services within ten (10) working days from the date of receiving a referral from the County, and thereafter deliver identified services on a regular basis in accordance with the established service plan. To be successful with this contract, the selected vendor should have personnel who receive client calls during business hours, schedule client visits, and provide homemaking services in the clients’ home. It is strongly encouraged to have one designated office personnel who is available during business hours to address the needs of this project. A minimum of five fulltime homemakers, or a minimum of seven part-time homemakers is also encouraged to meet the needs of this contract. Annual quantities on the projected schedule are estimates only. Quantities will vary depending upon the needs of the County.
