Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mobile Tire Repair Services 21.1 The contractor shall perform tire repair services using a mobile repair truck, at remote sites and upon request from an authorized City of Laredo representative. 21.2 The mobile repair truck shall be on-site within the time specified on the solicitation and mobile technician shall complete a service ticket for each tire repair performed at a remote site. 21.3 The contractor shall perform routine mobile repair services during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 21.3.1 Emergency Mobile Tire Repair: The contractor shall perform mobile tire repair services before and after normal business hours, on weekends, and on holidays normally observed by the City of Laredo. 21.3.2 Mileage shall be included in the service call price. 21.3.3 Whenever possible, all work will be performed during normal work hours, eight (8) am thru five (5) pm. In the event that work is scheduled after normal working hours, or on a weekend, or on holidays, the contractor will invoice as follows: 21.3.3.1 If the scheduled hours are for the convenience of the City of Laredo: After hour service call rate will apply. 21.3.3.2 If the scheduled hours are for the convenience of the Contractor: Regular Service rate will apply. 21.3.3.3 Mileage will be included in the service call rate. 21.4 Tire and Tube Repairs shall include (Sections 30.1, 30.2, and 30.3): 21.4.1 Removing tire from wheel (when mounted) and inspect tire for repair ability. 21.4.2 Cleaning and preparing tire casing. 21.4.3 Applying patch and curing. Tire repairs made with plugs or foam fill/sealant are not acceptable. 21.4.4 Installing new valve stem. 21.4.5 Remounting tire onto wheel (as applicable).
