The Board of Commissioners of the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District (BLFWD) requests qualification statements from highly qualified and innovative design teams to provide professional design services and implementation of the Louisiana Watershed Initiative Bayou Lafourche Pump Project. The proposed Bayou Lafourche Pump project is intended to transport excess stormwater from approximately 70 acres of land of Donaldsonville, LA into Bayou Lafourche. The project will consist of the design of pump stations at two sites and shall include the pumps, pump station foundations and sumps, sluice gates, intake piping, discharge piping as well as electrical, mechanical and civil components associated with the pump stations, including site grading, fencing, access drives and drive permits, etc. Site 1 will include two (2) Vertical Pumps, Motors and Controls and Site 2 will include two (2) Vertical Pumps Motors and Controls.
