Specifications include, but are not limited to: C.5.1 The Contractor shall support the HADAC and Sub-HADAC committees to provide technical and expert consultant services for ADAP providers seeking to improve adherence to HIV drug therapy. C.5.1.1 The Contractor shall provide innovative patient consulting tools such as medication therapy management in various forms, including approved tech sources such as smartphone communication, face time phone consults, and or face-to-face consults at HAHSTA for a walk-in client to improve patient outcomes. C.5.1.2 The Contractor shall provide the following reports: a. Pharmacy consulting reports b. Number of Clients report c. Data instrument reports that capture quality improvement activities on the number of clients d. Training topics and materials e. Narrative reports on the number of clients served and the outcome f. ADAP Drug Utilization report g. Detailed HADAC, Sub-HADAC, and Pharmacy Roundtable reports C.5.2 HADAC C.5.2.1 The Contractor shall provide logistical support for meetings of HADAC and its single subcommittee at the direction of the Contract Administrator. Logistical support shall, at a minimum, include the following: C.5.2.1.1 Maintaining a list of members of the HADAC. C.5.2.1.2 Organizing and scheduling four committee meetings per calendar year to occur every quarter. C.5.2.1.3 For each committee and subcommittee meeting, the preparation of agenda, background materials, and financial materials for each meeting, is to be completed no less than one week before each scheduled meeting and subject to the approval of the contract administrator and HADAC co-chairs. C.5.2.1.4 Preparation and distribution of detailed minutes of each meeting to all members, to be completed and distributed no later than fifteen calendar days from the date of the meeting for which minutes are being conducted. C.5.2.1.5 Prepare and provide a detailed schedule planner of all HADAC activities, including dates, times, and locations of all HADAC meetings. C.5.2.2 The Contractor shall provide technical and expert consultant support services to include at a minimum preparation and presentation for HADAC meetings. C.5.2.2.1 The Contractor shall provide a minimum of four ADAP Drug Utilization Reviews during the contract year to determine prescribing patterns. C.5.2.2.2 The Contractor shall provide on a quarterly basis, ADAP regimen reviews, a formalized analysis, and summary of medications regimens prescribed to ADAP beneficiaries to identify standard and non-standard medication regimens. C.5.2.2.3 The Contractor shall provide drug monograph and drug class reviews which entails a comprehensive pharmaceutical analysis of HIV medications newly approved by the Food and Drug Administration and other medications as directed by the CA and HADAC co-chairs. The analysis shall include benefits, risks, disadvantages, and expected costs for the drugs considered for inclusion in the ADAP formulary. Monographs and drug class reviews are presented at sub-HADAC for discussion and reviews, summarized and then presented to HADAC for action.
