Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Raleigh’s Transit Program, GoRaleigh, is seeking a Transit based GIS software solution to help the agency solve a variety of local and federally driven needs assessments. The software should be customer friendly and should be capable of real time manipulation in order to present data to citizens and a variety of stakeholders with varying interest and needs. Key areas of GIS data needs include but are not limited to the following: Map based transit route development with the use of centerline data. Data needed to assist with Transit Route development should include: Route length Buses needed on route with variable headways Route costs (utilizing programmed variables) Demographic data Title VI data analysis (utilizing programmed variables) Bus stop inventory with attributes A cloud based solution is preferred for easy access from a variety of planning locations and situations Transit travel time estimator Route and stop visualization tools to aid in public input opportunities (ex. offset transit lines). Data import and export features compatible with Esri products.
